a cherished time...

To some people its just lunch, but to me it is a cherished time with my boys :)
When I was teaching, I used to sit at my desk working on lesson plans, snacking on whatever food I could feed myself in the 20min. break that we had, and I could NOT stop thinking about what Jacob was doing at daycare. Oh, this broke my heart like you wouldn't believe(makes me cry just thinking about it). Picturing him there, sitting, eating his lunch that his Mommy was unable to prepare for him, wondering...was he happy? Did he miss me? Oh these thoughts went through my head all day long, and although I LOVED teaching, there is NOTHING like being at home, sharing these cherished moments with my boys :)
Thanks to my MORE THAN WONDERFUL husband,
I no longer have to wonder what they are doing because they are right here with ME!
and there's nothing like a good 'ol PB & J for lunch with Mommy!
Here's hoping your day is full of cherished moments too!!

Kids grow up so quickly and it's a blessing to be able to enjoy every moment you have with them. Keep up the good work.

I, seriously, love this post. I used to teach as well ,and feel so blessed to be able to stay home with Presley. She changes everyday, and I would be so sad to miss out on all of those moments. PB&J rocks, by the way!

Marissa I know what you mean. I loved teaching, but I always knew that when I became a mom that I would want and need to be home with my little one until they go to school full time. I cherish the time also. have a great night! Thank you for your kind comment yesterday.

yay! so great. i know many moms wish they could be home with their little ones. Although my little man makes me want to run out the door screaming many days, i am glad I am not worrying about him all day long.

So glad you are enjoying the HR monitor!!!
