Party Time!!

It started off with our cousin Natalie's graduation party in Houston! She's an official graduate of Texas Tech! The boys wore their Red Raiders t-shirts just for her & her friends...it was a huge hit! Plus our cousin Dominic heads there in the Fall!!!
The boys LOVED all of the attention from these cute, college girls! YIKES!! I'm not sure I liked it!
Then it was off to my Aunt Sissy's for a huge family get together! I feel SO blessed that we have a huge Italian family that is so close...so fun laughing, visiting and watching all of our kids, the next generation, play together!!

And ending with a "selfie"!! I am proud that I've dropped 3 sizes since January 2nd so it called for a snapshot!!!

Jake's kindergarten field trip, Justin's last day and DATE NIGHT!

...and they're all wrapped into one!!!

The field trip? CHAOS!!! I guess my old age can't do crowds quite the way I once did :-( but Moody Gardens in Galveston was probably not the best place for five kinder classes at the same time YIKES!!! But still fun and jake had a blast with his friends so guess that's what matters!!!

And Justin had his last day in the Sea Turtle class in preschool....so sweet to have a cute picture to end a great year! Can't believe he started the year crying for MOMMA and now he didn't want to leave!!!

And just a few pics from our date night...met up with our good friends at a new restaurant on the water...was SO good & great atmosphere! And because we are clueless of what to do without our boys, we rented movies and came home!!! But it was fun & the food was good :-( so were the adult beverages! Ha!!

Our life this week...in pictures!

Was filled with lots of cuddling, playing, bubble baths, duck feeding, more cuddling and playing...

And then it ended with Jake's baseball season coming to an end! It was an awesome season and I can't believe how much our Knights have improved in two seasons! Looking forward to moving up to Rookie league next season ;-) YIKES! My wonderful gift-flowers and a wooden cross signed by the players and coaches...I'm one proud Mom and Team Mom! I love that I'm able to be right there for all the awesome moments, help my son get ready to bat...it makes me so proud to watch the little ball player he's becoming!!! I just love that he has a smile on his face and is determined to do his best each time he steps onto that field...all of our boys do! Very cool group of players that I'm so blessed & thankful to be a part of!!

Mother's Day 2013

...I'll let the pictures capture a perfect Mother's Day brunch :-)
Lots of breakfast in bed, coffee made to order and flowers for me...so thankful for my family-my whole world!

Justin is four!!

It was a busy, fun-filled day!!! It started off with lunch at the birthday boys pick, Olive Garden! Hilarious!!
Then it was home for cake-homemade by Momma :-) and opening gifts!
Blowing out candles, making a wish and then playing his new drum set! Yes, he begged for it! And he's actually pretty good at it! Future youTube sensation?? Ha!

We even went to the neighborhood pool for a bit, then a golf cart ride and went to RedBox in their pj's and slippers for some movies and popcorn!!!
A perfect day to celebrate my baby boy turning four!!!
*his party is a pool party in a few weeks, (wanted to wait for water to warm up a bit!) so this was just family!!

Our week...

Started off with Jake testing positive for strep :-( honestly though, he never acted sick! Maybe because he doesn't know what resting means?? Ha! But good news is he's back to normal!

We stay sweaty a lot around here! Either running, playing outside, working in the yard, riding bikes...so lots of stinky pics...luckily you can't smell us :-)) whew!

We celebrated Justin's birthday today at his school! SO cute watching them sing Happy Birthday to my baby :-)

So after school we went outside and rode bikes/had running relays to celebrate my baby growing up :-(

Mangia!

When we were asked to represent Italy at my son's International Fair, I immediately knew we'd make it great! I even wore my grandma Bonka's apron...she was hopefully smiling down :-)

A few pics to recap the event! I'm a little bias but I think our country turned out the most festive and there was bite-sized PIZZA!!! 800 little squares, thanks to Pizza King!! A huge hit with the kids!! And teachers!
