"Wrapping Up" Christmas 2009!

The answer is, NO! We did not give in and buy Justin his very first puppy! BUT, Justin was all about cuddlin' up with our cousins puppy dog that they were dog sitting! He got the giggles every time the puppy came over to his blanket to hang out...and chew his baby toys!
WOOHOO, Thanks to Uncle Paul, Aunt Sheila, Dominic, Gabi, Aaron, Jacob finally got his last Christmas wish list gift...."a choo-choo train"

Justin is DROOLIN' with excitement over his very own blocks! Nope, they were handed down by his big brother, these were his blocks from Santa! Something about our second child getting "brand new" toys brings joy to Momma. Pathetic, I know!

Did this kid really get enough from Santa? We're not sure, but seeing that our living room floor looked like ToysRus, we think he did pretty good! Did our "Elf on the Shelf" really deliver messages to Santa this year? We think he may have gotten lazy and skipped a few trips to the North Pole, because some days around here did not look so "Nice"! Ha

Sweet boy in his new Jump N Go from MeMe! He sure can hang with the big boys now! And would you look at that face? LOVE IT! Yes, Justin's first Christmas was full of kleenex and vicks baby rub-he was sick as a dog and could barely breathe, but did not shed a tear...still the happiest baby ever!
"No Way" a real bat from the Astros! I must have been a really good boy this year...or Mommy and Daddy just didn't tell Santa how many times I went to the "Naughty Spot" this week!

Another Santa wish list item fulfilled! T.V. for my room. Now keep in mind, Mommy didn't have a tv in her room until she was in jr. high, but i guess times have changed because my THREE year old put this at the top of his wish list!

Mommy, PLEASE STOP TAKING MY PICTURE!!!
Mommy and Jacob checking out the Festival of Lights in Dickinson. Is it me or does Jacob look TOTALLY annoyed with picture taking? He was yelling, "CHEESE" at his Daddy and was telling me to let him go. What a sweet boy! It's okay Jacob, I know you love your Mommy more than words and cannot resist taking sweet pictures with her each and every day! Momma loves you too!
MERRY CHRISTMAS 2009 TO ALL!
....and Happy New Year too!

"Why to the North Pole...this is the Polar Express"

All Aboard the POLAR EXPRESS! Yes, this might be in Texas and Yes, it was 70 degrees outside, but if you "Believe" that you're actually in the North Pole, then the magic comes alive...
Jacob is all dressed up and ready to take his first trip to the North Pole to visit, Mr. C! Better known as, Santa Claus. (You must excuse all of my direct quotes to Polar Express, our family has been watching this movie since before Thanksgiving and reading the book almost every night!! what can I say, Jacob LOVES it!)

Jacob and Luke in their matching pj's and slippers! I mean, aren't these the two, more precious boys you've ever seen??

What is the Polar Express without a quick game of tag in the hallway of the Holiday Inn??

Lil' Bro and Big Bro! Look at these two, could they look more different? When I am holding Justin, I feel like I have to tell everyone, Yes he is REALLY my son! I love these boys more than life itself...they bring joy to our lives each and every day and we could not imagine life without them. Two, different little personalities and I must say, Jacob may be a Daddy's boy, but Justin is my little Momma's boy for sure!

Look at that smile! Please let me know if you could ever be in a bad mood when you look at a face like this all day? Smiles 100% of the time and it melts Momma's heart like you wouldn't believe!

"Tickets Please...Tickets"
These two are ready to ride! Love this picture with their Polar Express bears right by their sides! Yea, as soon as you walk into this place, you might as well have your wallet/purse handy! Polar Express souvenirs galore!

Mommy, Jacob, Luke and Tarah...does everyone see that we're all dressed in our pj's? Where are the Daddy's?? Not in this picture because they refused to wear pj's!!!

The conductor is punching Jacob's ticket! Love it because he looks totally freaked out, doesn't he? He's not even sure if that conductor can be trusted enough to take his ticket? And let me tell you, once his ticket was punched, nobody could go near it! Would not let us hold it, see it or even TOUCH it! That was HIS ticket!

Jacob, Mommy and Justin on our way to the North Pole. Look at what Justin is doing to that table cloth! I'm surprised it was still on the table after all of his tugging and pulling.

Santa giving Jacob a bell from his sleigh...even Mommy got all excited when Santa came through the doors of the train. Makes you feel like a kid again!

Jacob picked a sugar cookie, grabbed it, said Thank you and dropped it! All in a matter of 30 seconds! The cookie rolled to the other side of the train, he laughed and said "That's okay Daddy, we'll just go get ice cream after we leave the North Pole!"...can't get enough of that 3 year old talk!

Finally, made it to the North Pole! Santa was waiting for us there and had to go return, to finish making the toys for Christmas!
Definately worth the trip to Palestine to ride this train! We had a good time and can't wait to try it again when Justin is old enough to understand! Gets you in the Christmas spirit and it was our first time to ride a train, EVER.
Merry Christmas 2009!!!

We Believe

Yes, We Believe!
We took a trip to Palestine, Texas yesterday to ride the POLAR EXPRESS! We had a great time riding to the North Pole to pick up Santa and his elves. We drank hot chocolate, ate cookies and brownies, sang carols, AND he gave the "first gift of Christmas" to all of us...a bell from his sleigh! The McClellen's are in the Christmas spirit now more than ever!
Pictures coming SOON...

"Throwdown with Bobby Flay" A.K.A. JACOB

Handsome Boy cookin' a meal for his Momma!
Stopping for a brief moment to use Mommy's spatula and whisk as drumsticks and the tile floor as his instrument! Ahhh, yes he's all boy!

So, this was the best $10 EVER spent. He'll play with this food for hours...especially when Mommy's in a great mood and let's him tear through ALL, yes ALL of her measuring cups, spatulas, mixing bowls, etc! This is what we are forced to do today to keep us, well Jacob entertained while it's cold and rainy outside. Yuck! So, until the weather is good enough to go outside and play(his favorite thing to do!) "Throwdown with JACOB" will just have to do.

look at what a few, short months will do

Justin Cole on his first day home from the hospital...May 15, 2009. Sweet boy!
and look at you now! It's December, you're almost seven months old and by far, the HAPPIEST baby I've ever known. Love you sweet boy...time is going by way too quickly with you and even though I can't keep you as my "baby boy" forever, I'm sure gonna try!

Santa's Little Helpers

As you can see, we have two "little helpers" for Christmas this year! Jacob is VERY excited about Christmas. We think this will be the first year when he finally understands the true meaning of Christmas...and about being "naughty or nice". ?? We've tried to explain that not listening to your Mom and Dad and being mean to your brother makes you "naughty", but not really sure he's getting it, since yesterday in the bath tub, he poured an ENTIRE cup of water over his brother's head...oh yes, the whole cup. Does Justin get upset? Absolutely..NOT! He loved it! He was cracking up and throwing his hands in the air for Jacob to do it again. He's going to be made of steel before it's all said and done! Gotta love being a Momma of two boys! I love every minute and wouldn't change it for a second!
