ARE YOU KIDDING ME??!

ALL this hype in our area...they closed schools, airports, even the CITY so we thought, THIS WILL HAPPEN, right??! Camera charging, fish frying, coats and mittens, the news had us all pumped up with this 80% chance of snow,
so I woke up at 2am, NOTHING. 3:30am, NOTHING. 7am....NOTHING!
So, what did we get here in South Texas this morning?? ICE. Yes, stinkin' ICE.
I wanna cry :(

I woke up, ran to the window and just wanted to cry. I just knew we were going to have fun in the snow this morning. Oh well, we will get our fair share next weekend!!! Still a HUGE bummer!!

That is EXACTLY what happened here. I swear you would have thought the world was ending. They were calling it Snowmageddon. All network programming was interrupted with Highway Patrol, etc. We were expecting 20" and we got . . .2" of sleet/ice and about 3" of snow. Grocery stores closed (had no bread, milk, eggs), restaurants, gas stations, etc. Ridiculous!

Yet other parts of the USA have had so much! Take Care in the icy conditions and have a god weekend.

We had ice here in GA a few weeks ago and it was no fun! We were hoping for lots of snow too. Thanks for stopping by my blog. I am following you back!

I'm so sorry - ice is the worst! Here's hoping you get some snow this winter, but if not, you're welcome to all of mine!

Yeah, I was pretty disappointed, too, when I looked outside at 5:30 AM and no snow. Only ice. Bummer. :(

Um... we've got about 10 extra feet of snow outside here in WI right now, do you want me to send you some? :)

Oh that stinks! I know how much you wanted the snow my friend! You can have some of ours! Ha! I was shoveling one part of the roof from upstairs and shoving out the other window. We have so much snow I wish I could send you some! Have a great night and keep hoping! If not, you can always visit New England!

I was so disappointed too. I stayed up late waiting for the snow that never came. Everything was covered in ice here too. The novelty of that wore off in about 2 minutes!
