Goodbye Fireside!

Yesterday we said goodbye to our first travel trailer! We bought it last year, not knowing if we would LOVE camping the way that we obviously do! It was a great starter but with our family, the dog and trying to take my mom or husbands family, it wasn't near large enough, so we have been looking for months and finally found the one that would fit our needs and a whole lot more!! We are so excited to take our first trip in the new "ride" in a few weeks!!
But for now ill leave you with our final picture in front of our beloved, Fireside!

Hoppy Easter!

Just enjoying dyeing Easter eggs! Seems like a fun tradition that never gets old! And these rough boys only broke ONE egg during the process this year, so doing good!

Almost Easter

Lots of busy days packed with baseball, playing outside A LOT! And running club! Seems like we haven't had much, if any down time but that's okay! We make it work and cherish the moments when we can ;-)
This week we had 2 baseball games, a slumber party at MeMe's with Molly(our pup!) , Dixie and Gracie! Fun Fun! Then we had a super loose tooth that was pulled by JAKE...I was a wuss and sat there SCREAMING while he pulled it! Yikes, my tummy can't handle that! And then today was running club, which is great for me because I get my runs in too!

gorgeous weather!

We had to take advantage of this week of great Spring Break weather!
My mom & I took the boys to the Livestock show and had a great time, but honestly my boys cared more about the monster truck rides and the Ford booth filled with r/c trucks and sitting in all the big trucks! Boys will be boys ;-)
Then yesterday we headed to the beach with my mom's family! Took the top off of the jeep and had a GREAT time! I'm totally sunburned but it was worth it! Lol! Jake LOVED surfing on his boogie board so I'm sure we'll be in Galveston a bunch this summer!
Hope you had a wonderful week and now it's time for SCHOOL again :-( blah!!!!!

Hey Boo Boo!

And when we asked the boys where they wanted to go camping for spring break they of course chose...
JELLYSTONE!
We had a great time and they've added a bunch of cool things and are in the process of building a lazy river and splash pad! We rode the new train, swam in the pool (it was heated!!) and did all of the slides! We also played lots of mini golf on the new course...Justin even woke up one morning and golfed in his pj's! No shame!!
The boys swam all day long and most of the parents sat near the pool in their sweats (it was chilly in the mornings)
The boys swore they weren't cold but ya know they were FREEZING!!
We are hoping that these memories will last a lifetime and it sure makes you stop and enjoy the little moments! And I love SPRING BREAK and my boys having the whole week home with us ;-) so much fun and still more fun to be had....

Kicking it off right!

We had a group of us that headed to the Kemah Boardwalk after our early release day at school! It was lots of fun!!

It ended with Jake getting motion sick and we had to leave :-( guess our man takes after Daddy, and although they can handle roller coasters they CAN'T do spinning! He rode a ride called Wipeout and it was all over from there....
BUT overall, such a fun day ;-)
