Holy moly this place had chocolate dipped EVERYTHING! Twinkies, bananas, bacon-YES bacon! 

....and then a stop in Luckenbach! HOW COOL!!!!

My hubby and friend remember coming here as kids but I had never been! VERY COOL!! 

Oh yes, LOTS of rope swinging happening here! The place was SO clean, nice families and beautiful atmosphere! 

Justin had to make sure there were no snakes in the water...it was ok and he probably jumped about 100 times from that ledge! 

Huge courtyard for the kids to play! We played football, frisbee and beach volleyball! 

SUCH a fun day :) 

The more we come here, the more we wanna just pick up and move!!! Soooo beautiful, laid back and just plain FUN!!!

it makes me sad sometimes to think about how QUICKLY time passes...how our children grow up before our eyes and all we have are the beautiful memories that we create each and every day!

As I think about yet another summer coming to an end (ugh!) I found these pictures from last summer 2012 and it makes me sad to think how much they've grown :-(  ...my babies :-(

 I missed him SO much that day...wondering what he was doing, if he was thinking about his Momma and making new friends!  Ah, so hard to watch them grow, change and find their independence :-(  if this is tough, I can only imagine that I'll need MUCH therapy when they go off to college!  How do parents "let go"??  LUMP IN MY THROAT!!!!!


And Justin, my baby.  Whew not sure how I'll be next year when he's in "big boy" school!  Yikes!  This was his first day of Sea Turtle class, preschool!  My baby boy looks so small!  He cried for me through October and I seriously considered allowing him to drop out....hahaha, I know pathetic right?  BUT we pushed on, he made great friends, had wonderful teachers and a great first year of preschool.  

anybody else struggle with the years passing too quickly?  Ugh!  Partly, I'm sooo not ready for the school year but mostly because my "babies" aren't quite babies any longer....whew, I'm a MESS!!!

FRIENDS! and a bee sting

We had a great time with friends today!  Two of my best friends growing up, Kelly and Jenni and their beautiful families!  We had fun checking out their new house and neighborhood, and ate yummy ribs and watermelon!  Mmmmm!
Love watching all these kiddos together! It's fun to see all of our children play, the way we all did as kids!

And we were able to see our friends TWO nights in a row this weekend, hanging out in our neighborhood one evening and then the next in theirs!  Isn't she adorable??!  :)  The boys play so good with her and she sure can hang!  Not the girly girl...she likes to get rough and tough with these crazy boys!!!

OMG!  Poor Molly!!!!  As you can see, she was stung by a bee last week!  She was huge, puffy and covered in hives.  So sad!!  Gave her Benadryl and the swelling immediately went away.  Whew, Molly's all back to normal.  Brandon and I were FREAKING OUT, watching her all puffy and itchy...couldn't believe it did that :(
