first day of school, belated post!

That handsome boy was ready to go, bright and early for his first day of school last week! He loved seeing his buddies from last year and meeting his new teachers. He said they are cool teachers and he's already learning a lot AND they have him as their helper with certain things because of his BIG MUSCLES!!! Ha! His music teachers say he's shy and doesn't really like to sing, but he has classroom and music teachers thinking he's such a little sweetheart! Which he totally can be a SUPER sweet guy, but he sure likes to run wild, be ALL BOY and drive his baby brother nuts sometimes! Ha! Our reports from teachers so far, say: He's so mature. He loves sports. He's a sweetheart. He's made some good friends in class. He is ALWAYS on his best behavior! Well, I'm happy that he's saving all that super, sweet boy behavior for the classroom! Woohoo!

Poor little guy is ready to play soccer, but unfortunately there wasn't a fall league with openings this season, so maybe we'll have better luck in the spring?

He is very excited to run another 1K race with us in October! Jacob rides his bike and baby brother has been training a lot with Mommy, as he rides in the jogging stroller while I work on my mileage! They are my #1 fans, but most of the time they tell me to

RUN FASTER, MOMMY...You're going TOO slow!!! Ha!

The half marathon is January 15, 2012 so we better step it up with our training! Up until this week, it's been way too hot to get more than three miles, but now that we're having low's in the 60's and high's in the breezy 80's, we should be good and ready to TRAIN, for real!

Oh that's so cute that he's doing so great. Love that your boys cheer you on and tell you to run faster. What dolls
